Don't jump on it, wait a few months for the bugs to get out, just my opinion.

After upgrading, the site seems more stable, except I still occasionally get the dreaded "Problem loading a web page it will be reloaded." That bumps me off TOTV and I have to log on again. And the misplaced icons show up after that, although they disappear with a single page refresh.

I was hoping the new update would cure the Misplaced Icons/Refresh Required problem.
I am hesitate to download it, because the last time I upgraded my iPad ios, my iPad developed huge problems with constant pop ups of App Games Advertising.
The last upgrade made using my iPad for TOTV impossible. Now I use only my Laptop for TOTV.

Just upgraded and no, the sky did not fall in. The downside is that it did not fix at least at this point the missing icons. No noticable impact on speed so don't build your hopes up. Really don't belive the problems with TOTV are due to IOS flaws but rather programming issues with the app. At least that is my opinion.

Bear with me, but what iOS impact on ToTV are we talking about? Browsing the full site on an iDevice? Or Tapatalk possibly?

Each update seems to exacerbate the problem.
No more updates for me. :Screen_of_Death:

I did the last update on my iphone 5s. I have no problems with TOTV on my iphone, except that I have to re-sign in every time I visit the site. It used to remember me. (HEY YOU!! REMEMBER ME???)
I have never had the icon issue or the color issue others have mentioned. So I am not to worried abou the update. hmmm, maybe I should be.....

I use TapaTalk so I never had any of the issues noted.

Same here. But I do go occasionally to the full site using Chrome on my iPad also and have never had any problems.

I am still at 8.0 on all my devices with no known problems....so I will continue to wait for good news.
Still haven't updated my wife's 5s to 8.0......she is very comfy/happy so will continue as is for a while longer.

Me too. As long as I keep hearing about problems others are having, I'm reluctant to upgrade my iPad.
I suppose eventually Apple will insist. Hopefully TOTV/Apple will have worked out the problems by then.

I'd like to go back to 8.0 but I understand that going backward is impossible.
I gave my old iPad to Fireboy, and he is quite happy with an old operating system.
I've discovered that "newer" doesn't necessarily mean "better".

I did the update. I am pretty sure it was a Placebo.
