Talked to county sheriffs on the scene. It's a manhunt for a burglary suspect - white male /early 20s / facial hair / wearing blue jeans gray t-shirt and black hoodie. If you see him call 911. Breakin occurred in Gilchrist.

When I was coming back from golf they stopped us on the cart trail near the gilcrest entrance. Police said there was a burglary in the area and the neighbor called it in quickly. The had a description.....white male, about 20 wearing jeans, hoodie with a gray shirt underneath. They had his car as he left the car and fled on foot. The dogs were deployed as well as the helicopter. I hope they find him!!!

Yes. Just had an automated call from Sumter County Sheriff's Department reporting a burglary suspect in my area (Village of St. James). Reported to be a white male wearing jeans, blue City shirt (?), hat and boots, age 20-30 years old. Call 911 if you see this individual.

One of the break-ins occured at the Meyers residence on Teaberry, village of Gilchrist. The suspects SUV was left behind at the scene and he fled on foot.
