Please check out Poodle and Pooch Rescue at Dogs for adoption from our Rescue in Orlando FL (http://www.pprfl.org)
Additionally, they will be at Brownwood this SATURDAY from 12 till 3pm for the Grand Opening of "Woof Gang Bakery" and will be bringing about 7 dogs that need a home. Please visit the site and if you see a dog you are interested in, send them an email and they will bring that particular pup along for you to see.
PPR does not operate out of a shelter, as all dogs are fostered in our homes after full vetting until adopted. In addition to checking out the "Adoptable Dogs" tab, please look at the "Save A Dog" tab as those pooches are just coming into our care.
Best of luck in finding your new furry friend...and Thank You for thinking Rescue!!!

I've been looking for a Shih Tzu too! I've seen a couple on the internet in Ocala -- puppies, not rescues! Unfortunately, I am in Michigan! Good luck in your search!

Thank you for the help in finding a Shih Tzu. We were very lucky and talked with Shih Tzu Rescue located in Davie Florida. We adopted a beautiful little girl, two year old and could not have found a better dog. The people at the rescue were fantastic, they checked us out, had people visit our home and helped us pick the right dog. I highly recommend Shih Tzu Rescue and if you are looking for a wonderful dog start by looking them up online. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Thank you

I am a volunteer with this wonderful rescue. All their dogs and puppies are in foster care from Florida to New England. When a dog is adopted, it is transported by volunteers to its forever home.

It doesn't matter where you are stick in your zipcode and other specifics of what you want in a pet and see whose waiting for you to adopt them.

The Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue transports its dogs all up and down the east coast. In fact, I am a volunteer transporter here in Florida. You can apply at [url=http://stfbr.org] I'm going to post a picture of Reese, a four month old Shih Tzu Mix.
