any help would be appreciated

There is also a loud buzzing sound when I put the cart in reverse. it works and drives good in both forward and reverse.
It just jerks real hard when taking off and the buzzer is very annoying when backing up
also the charge indicator is always on even when the key is out
not sure if these are all related but figured it might help to know the extra symptoms.

The bucking could be jumping brushes in the motor, topical Western Montors are hard to come buy, don't wast time before you get it checked out.
The beeping sound can be adjusted buy covering a part of the buzer with tape to muffle the sound.
The meter can be wired to show voltage only when the key is on very easy by a pro.

Thanks for the info. Can the brushes be replaced or is the motor most likely toast? Any place you know of to get parts for the Western Carts?
