This question is absolutely VITAL to the Democratic party.

"Democrats have a pathetic bench. While the GOP can look at young and bright faces like Walker, Cruz, Rand, Rubio, Jindal, Martinez, Haley, and Pence, which Democrats besides Hillary have a realistic shot at winning the White House?

Elizabeth Warren is an Ivy-League leftist who has won precisely one election, in Massachusetts. She is almost as old as Hillary, and although, at only about $14 million, she is not nearly as rich as Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton, Warren still looks utterly disconnected from the vast majority of America.

Joe Biden? He is a walking gaffe machine whose principal political asset is that he seems utterly hapless and confused. Biden in the presidential debates would almost certainly make several absurd and damaging slips. America will be sick to death of Obama by 2016, and his principal stooge, Biden, will inherit all this national nausea. "

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND....

"Hillary Rodham Clinton, who won’t yet say whether she is running for president, is assembling a massive campaign team-in-waiting that outstrips anything on a Republican side that remains factionalized and focused on knocking off one another.

At this point, without so much as an announcement, she has settled on — at the least — a campaign chairman, a campaign manager, a chief strategist and lead pollster, another pollster, a lead media adviser, a communication director, a deputy communications director, a focus group director and a communications strategist.

She is also closing in on a New York City campaign headquarters and a date to make all of this official."

Official or not, Hillary Clinton builds a massive 2016 team-in-waiting - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/official-or-not-hillary-clintons-2016-campaign-is-already-well-underway/2015/02/06/a78fc358-ac8d-11e4-ad71-7b9eba0f87d6_story.html)

She is old and tired and "soiled" merchandise. She truly represents all we the people dislike about politicians.

She in no way relates to the needs of the people.

All candidates are somewhat not genuine, however she is a phony.

The Dems can do better. If she does become the choice of the party she will lose

On the republican side, there is also Gov Perry (under federal indictment), Gov Christie (under federal investigation), former Gov Bob McDonnell (sentenced to spend time in the federal penitentiary), and former Gov Sarah Palin (appearing soon on the 40th anniversary show of Saturday Night Live).

Old and tired women are going to take offense at someone calling Hilary "old and tired and "soiled merchandise".

A lot more could be said, but unlike you, some think elections are not about smearing !!

BUT, you have fun...that is the way of your party !!!!!!

The question was "Will Hillary Run?"

The answer is YES - and she will win!

Look at the buffoons that the GOP has in line: The Senator from Canada, an eye doctor, a neurologist, a hog castrater, a former witch, and a Goobernator who quit her office.

Eighty-five percent of democrats support Hilary for president. That doesn't leave a lot of room for others to enter the race. Why would they bother going up against the Clinton machine? Bill Clinton is the most popular democrat in the party, and she will also have Barack Obama drawing a crowd and raising money for her.

BTW: When Mitt Romney was toying with the idea of running for the third time, it wasn't mentioned that he was too old and tired, even though he is six months older than Hilary and has way more grandchildren.

Democrats can once again sit back and watch the clown car unload.

Sure am glad that this political forum is available.

All of the deep thinkers...the folks who really know what is going on in the world are chiming in with analytical studies of the candidates, garnered I assume, from the Rachael Maddow show.

Wonder where all the adults are ?

I will assume that you all have not posted about Iran, or Ukraine or ISIL....I assume you would not recognize those as issues of he day, but certainly the mud slinging you picked up in the playground abounds.

When you grow up you may understand how infantile this all comes across when read !

That would be the one carrying Biden, Pelosi and Reid.

No!
No sense bringing up qualification for the job. 2008 & 2012 proved qualifications are not needed.

Even though she was fired for lying to protect Nixon during Watergate and she and Bill trashed the White House when leaving office? Not to mention her "expertise" in the stock market.

WOW....sort of crazy for me to say this, BUT I would prefer that we discuss qualifications or non qualifications of candidates, once they become candidates. There is a lot to be said for sure, but whether she runs or not is the question.

She will open herself up to, not only her past and foibles, but also her husbands as she has pretty much supported him in all aspects.

If she does not run, then who ?

That is going to a problem with this forum. The "guest" sign in encourages the same intelligent discussion you see on rest room walls.

Gotta agree. Nothing to stop anybody from posting anything.

I believe Hillary will run and has a good chance of winning because many of the uninformed believe they are bringing back Bill and the Clinton years. Personally I would like to hear from Hillary supporters as to what she has accomplished in her lifetime that you believe would make her a good president.

It does not matter that she hasn't accomplished anything. The 2008 and 2012 elections are testimony to that!!!

And just exactly what are the qualifications?

Will Hilary run? Let's see...96% of democrats want her to be the nominee, she has been wanting to be the first woman president most of her life, she will be able to raise all the money in the world thanks to her husband and Barack Obama, she has most of her staff in place and is looking for space to set up campaign headquarters, she is beating her possible republican rivals in 99% of the polls. What was the question again?

The only question is will anybody run against her? The debates will be very interesting if she is the only one on stage. Who will be the sacrificial lamb for the republican party this time?

After reading the link about Hillary's qualifications, for the life of me I don't understand how anyone could believe she did a good job as secretary of state - my God, look at the condition of the world today!

She did a flat out terrible job as Secy of State. That does not mean she did not try, but she failed totally. Of course, and I suspect this will come out during the campaign, should she run...she took the job for political reasons to beef up the resume and protected the President in public. Just my thoughts...we will wait and see.

This is perfect. Blame Hilary Clinton for all the problems in the world today, even before she even announces whether she's running or not. Nothing will unite women voters (and perhaps some men) and drive them to the polls, should Hilary decide to run.

It's the same as trying to deny people the right to vote or making it harder to register to vote. Nothing will get people to the polls faster or in bigger numbers.

I sure am not reading those posts the way you are.

My opinion, what we are going to find out is that the job looks terrible but she was under the control and restraints of the WH

Why does the deny people the right to vote and making it harder to vote have to do with Hilary running.

Save all that old political garbage for the right time. Most want to talk about the issues of the day, not rehash Maddow and that ilk. But, you can if you want.....to what end I do not know.

Hardly. Over exaggeration. C-

Being a woman, I would NEVER vote for her. I don't believe in trying to may "history" either, like the voters over the last 6 years. Let her play "nana" or whatever and leave the presidency to some one that can do the job.
