Can anyone recommend a good painter for interior work. Our Lantana is being built but I want the walls and ceilings painted in my choice of colors before we move in.
And, also want some customized closet work done in the master closet and laundry area. I have Closet Works on the list for the master closet and may just have the contractor who does the cabinetry work In the kitchen extend some cabinets in the laundry area but other suggestions would be welcomed.
Thanks

Please check our "I need" forum. There is information there under "painters." I am familiar with that company, and they are wonderful, very talented.

We are moving into a Lantana as well. I would like to have custom cupboards built in the dining area. Any recommendations for that as well?
We are also moving into a Lantana and I would love recommendations for closet organizers. I need to make good use of every inch of closet in master bedroom since we only have one. Thank you in advance.

Thanks Jan but I wanted to hear from folks who acatully contracted interior painting services and were happy. Same with customizing closets, etc.
Anyone use a painter they were happy with?

WE also own a Lantana and my wife specifically wanted some custom shelves in the room opposite the laundry area..and our extra room is 2 foot entended outward. ON one side we have custom shelves plus I now have a place to put small jackets, tennis racquets etc and on the other side I have 2 large base cabinets with a counter top( he rasied the electric and cable boxes) and on top I have 2 cabinets with a wine rack in between. The room is fully functional. Brian is a General contractor and he brought in painters to spray paint the entire room once it was framed out and it was sprayed in Oil base paint. Brian also specializes in Crown moulding and you just would not believe the differnce in your great room with crown moulding. He also built me a great work bench in the garage. He is expanding our neighbors screened in lanai and I plan to have him enclose our lanai, I would highly recommend B&J Builders..the owner is Brian Freitag and he can be reached t 352 -516-0668. Tell him Rich from Caroline referred you!!

I did say in my post that we know the company and are very happy with their work. We have used them three times for major projects and will do so again. That's a pretty good endorsement.

I enthusiastically recommend Tom Campbell at 352-430-1102.
I had several estimates and chose Tom to do the work. Not only did he do a great job, but he was fabulous to deal with. I called him from Canada to make arrangements for the painting to be done. He paid for the paint himself, did the painting, and said he would wait for all payment until I personally came to TV and could inspect his work. Top Notch service.

S&S Enterprises gets my vote, they did our interior painting and we are very pleased. I called 3522994530 and they are really nice to work with.

I called them and they gave me a quote of $1 a sq foot to include paint. If I'm figuring this out correctly. it looks like $3,000 plus to paint the rooms in a Lantana.
Anyone have their Lantana painted (rooms and ceiling) that can tell me if I'm estimating this correctly. It's just under 2,100 sq feet.
I just did an introductory call with S&S because we're not closing until the end of Sept.

I believe you dont need to add the ceilings in the price, I believe they ( S&S)take your sq ft of the house and X it by $1 and thats the price...I had 2 ceilings done and they didnt charge me for the sq ft of the ceilings only wall footage. You may want to ask them about this.
