I just spent an about 35 min reading all the posts about the loud music, the trains and where not to live in TV. I think the guy who has the issue with "loud music" might want to rethink it. TV is not a retirement community in the true sense of the word. If it was, most of the resident's would not be here. It is a medium sized city of about 65,000 people who are enjoying a vast array of terrific possibilities to enhance one's life. Music is one of them. It is wonderful to have it and shows what a vibrant place TV is. If the music is ever regulated, stopped etc., it would be a very sad day in TV.
About the trains etc.,......it is sad to think that any real estate agent, would not disclose this. That realtor should be looking for a job in another area, not TV. I think I would have gone in person, to the director of sales, and sat one on one with him/her and had a real "Come To Jesus Meeting". Then the same meeting at the Administration office with the owner or owner's rep.
Last point is this: we are now in the process of renting a villa fora year to see if this community is for us. To "try it on if you will" I would love feedback on the various Villages and what you think. For example, I have heard that it is really "cool" on the east side, the historic side. Other's have said..."do not buy or even rent there" that's one example. We would love to be "close in" and think the villa community of Chula Vista looks really fine....would love to hear from any resident's of this area. and also from Hacienda which is across the street right on the Delmar gate. Also what are your opinion's concerning both Town Square's. Sumter vs. Spanish Springs. Better to be close in to which one? I would rather be walking distance to one of these, not in the middle. But then we must pick one and I am sure, there are opinion's out there as to which one might be more desireable and why.
Thanks to all for sharing your opinion's Look forward to your response.
Thankyou.....Carl
