I just received a call from "Payphone" at 607-724-9716. The caller said that the IRS has filed suit against me and the Federal marshals will be coming for me soon!

Can anyone volunteer to bake me a cake with a file in it?

I figured the call was a salescall or scam when I saw "Payphone" on the caller ID but it got me curious so I answered.

Amazing that some people still fall for this scam, isn't it?

Well, another number to add to the Call Block list.

Say in a low voice when prank or telemarketers call "There is blood everywhere. Hide the body. Did you get a trace on this call?"

Yea some woman call my home stating she was from the IRS, left a (212) number which if I recollect is new York and told me I better call her back because legal action was being taken . You would think that these phone companies would have some control here. I mean they use the same phone numbers in roation

Hoax...these folks are the same ones that have a deceased relative of yours in Nigeria or someplace similar that left you a $Million...just send them your bank account info so they can send it to you. IRS never (any more) contacts you that way if there is a problem.
