I heard on the radio that Leslie Gore passed away today. I haven't been able to find out any details. I remember her songs well. She was 68 or 69.

Yes she did.

Because of copyright issues when I saw her at a PBS taping,she was not allowed to sing "It's My Party." She did sing several other of her hits.

"You Don't Own Me " was pretty much the anthem by the girls at one on my high schools. RIP Ms. Gore. You'll be missed by many and remembered fondly by most.
