Played golf on the north side today so had to travel Morse. On the way home a small black car literally pulled right into the diamond lane causing me to pull right. I regained control of my vehicle and managed to maintain control of my temper. Morse Blvd, Rio Grande and Delmar (Lake county) are accident waiting to happen

To all of you.
I am going to say it again. All over The Villages there are people driving, young-er and old-er. who are STUPID and not good drivers and arrogant and not paying attention. breaking all kinds of driving rules and rules of common sense for any number of reasons.
Please drive defensively. I want you to be here at the end of March.
I am glad you are o.k. Rubicon.

I would only add one thing to your post, GG...bad drivers are EVERYWHERE, not just in TV. Like gracie said, drive defensively. And do it EVERYWHERE!! :)

Exactly what I tried to convey about a golf cart stopping in steady traffic on Rio Grande, and remaining stopped in the car lane with no brake lights to indicate he was slowing down and then stopping to wait before turning left.

All of these incidents remind us that it is better to stay and play and shop in your own neighborhoods during this extra busy time.

I have been wanting to go to Michaels for the past 3 days and am not brave enough.. I have enough trouble driving to Doggie Doo Run Run in the mornings.. Traffic at Wedgwood /466 is insane.. I stopped at Oxford Post Office approx 11 am today and not a parking spot to be found and 3 cars ahead of me waiting for a place.. that is one messed up parking lot ..

I would think that in the described scenario, not having turn signals on would be the bigger issue.

The key is to purchase one of those loud 18 wheeler horns for your cart. That will alert them to get back into their own lane. Fight fire with fire.

^^^^I totally agree. I drove 1,226 miles last Friday (left the home in TV at 6am EST and pulled into the KC driveway at 10:15 pm CST) and saw CRAZINESS the whole trip. People were as crazy as a loon.
