Does anyone know of any good sites that have rental homes in or around the villages?

****.com is where I found the furnished house that I am renting in May. Great source for you.

I want to rent before I buy. All the properties I've looked at say no pets. Is it impossible to rent if I have a cat? I will pay security

I am looking for long term and unfurnished

I think that most owners will charge a non-refundable pet fee, if they allow pets. If you find a house that you want to rent, you might offer to pay a fee and describe your pet...
..i.e. declawed, fixed, house broken, etc

Just my opinion but a rental house that takes cats might be harder to find because of allergies. I am sure some cat lovers do rent out their houses, though. Best of luck!

Hi, Hula. We sometimes rent our home for a week or more at a time. We are full time residents but often visit our kids. We don't mind cats as we are former cat owners. D & G.
