We used Comptons Pressure Washing to clean the siding on our house. The man whipped the hose around a plant beside my garage and he broke a piece out of the siding trim. This area has no grass anywhere near it, just one plant.

We made the complaint to them and they came and took a picture but refuse to pay for the damage. It cost me $150 to have the siding part replaced.

Would never recommend them to anyone.

I assume they have small claims court in FL - just on principle you might want to consider pursuing it there. It will probably cost you some money to do this - I don't know how it works in FL.

I had problems with another pressure washing company. They did a terrible job very sloppy. My solution was to go buy a pressure washer myself and do the job right. In the long run I will save my self a small fortune and knowing that it was done right with nothing broke.

Just a FYI for people coming from the North where they paid much more for pressure washing. It costs about fifty bucks here for a designer.

They know they can get away with something like this.

In Florida, you have to pay $300 file a small claim. Plus you have to cover the cost of the police "serving" the person, and more.

Yes, you could win the case in court, but for a claim of $150.00 and you have to pay $300 to file against that person, who would do it????? PLUS, even if you WIN in court, you as the winner, still have to pursue the individual to get your money from them. The courts will NOT go after them. You only win a judgement against that person from the court system, it does NOT guarantee you will get your money!!

Unfortunately the bad guy knows this and that is why they continue to get away with it!!!

No it doesn't cost that much

aims less than $100.00 .... $55.00
Claims of $101.00 to $500.00.....$80.00

Issuance of Summons, each ..... $10.00
Create Summons Form, each .....$ 7.00

If you win I assume those costs are added to your judgement
