I'm watching it now Tal, and I am just afraid he will do permanent damage to his knee. He is wincing in pain and he still has a long way to go. Its hard to say if he will win or not but I am glued to the tube waiting to find out. I am sad though that Phil Mickelson had such a bad time. He is such a gentleman and I hatge to see him do so badly at Torey Pines. Although happily he did pull out a couple of birdies at the end there.

Thought exciting and golf were words that did not go that well with one another but the U.S. Open Sudden Death Championship and what led up to sure made exciting TV even with the black outs on NBC we seemed to have off and on. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men's_major_golf_championships

Tiger is such a fantastic player. However, I really wanted the 'old' guy to win....just like in November! :)

CONGRATULATIONS to Tiger Woods. He showed what it takes to be a consistent champion. He was in so much pain. His Dad was sooo right when he said nobody can beat Tiger's mental toughness. He's grown up and matured so well. We're all proud of him. God speed his recovery from surgery. :2cool:
