Just a FYI.....Wife had Dental Surgery. Upon leaving we stopped at Walgreens here in Villages on Powell Rd..
Handed them two scripts. 1) for pain for couple of days 2) other for possible stomach upset.
Since no insurance available I asked price. Both were quoted at $52.00.
I felt this was way high for only a few days of pills.
Took the same scripts to Publix's at Colony Plaza. Cost was both for under $20.00
It may pay for all to check their prices. It sure worked for us!

That is concerning as I strongly suspect that both the pain killer and the stomach meds are available in generics....plus the issue of low quantities.....does not compute.

Both Meds were written to allow generics thus the cost difference is hard to explain but it still happened and that is the facts!.......

Before I abandoned Walgreen's over a surly manager and stupid pharmacists, I noticed that *every* month, the cost of our prescriptions went up.

My Godson works in the Pharmacy at Walgreen in Cincinnati. He said they are always more expensive. My plan said that they recognize some places as dedicated pharmacies and some as not Walgreens is NOT. They can charge what they want.
