Not a good company to work with. Final inspection failed 3 times. Fairbanks submitted engineering drawings to Sumter Co when the permits were obtained. Then FB did not build according to the plans and when we questioned this, FB kept saying we will do whatever you want. We wanted the work performed according to plans. They eventually corrected their work to pass. The work was sloppy. At one point, they sent out a big bruiser to intimidate (I guess) as he was very nasty. It was if we were responsible because they did not perform their job. We paid way way too much. We used them because they were backed by Home Depot and felt this was a good endorsement. This is just a very short version of problems.

These are the folks used by Home Depot? You should tell them at once. AND Seniors Vs.Crime located in the Sheriffs Office on 466 near Morse.

We got a quote from these people over a year ago. Although we thought the product was good, price was out of the stratosphere.

Corban Construction is just as bad. They didn't follow the architectural drawing plans that the ARC and Bldg Dept approved. They were inattentive to details of the plans and the written contract. The work was unsupervised, not checked for quality or completeness, failed to meet timeframes for ordering the upgraded items which caused construction delays and errors in construction, and damaged and poor quality products were installed and then removed and replaced. The job was to be done in two months. It took four months. Even then, I had to hire separate contractors to fix issues Corban couldn't or wouldn't fix to finish the project. Bad, bad, bad job. Beware this company. The owner seems like a great guy, but the work doesn't measure up at all.
