Not sure of where to catch a mess of sac a lait (crappie), but I don't think you're allowed to catch and keep, only catch and release. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Might have to go outside of the bubble to find a good place.

if you google fishing in the villages fl or villages FL fishing you will get plenty of information. Some where I seen site that list the rules of fishing on village property can't remember where I seen it right now?

As stated above if I remember correctly all village retention ponds are catch and release. If you taken Trolley tour's they tell us that also. Also there will be signs NO FISHING or no fishing beyond this point in some areas which means no fishing:jester: other than that fish-a-way. But, some retention ponds dry up so not all has fish in them depending on how much rain we've had or not had? I watch the birds and the diving ducks if they are fishing I am fishing. :D

I caught some nice crappie at the lake beside Chathem Mail station. at least two hands size. I released them. There bass in there also and the one across the street. :crap2:
