Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 28, for a special event to support the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County and Leesburg Humane Society with a very unique event. There will be two industrial paper shredding trucks in the parking lot of the Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital from 9 a.m. to noon so folks can securely shred all their unwanted paperwork containing personal information. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS EVENT EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PAPER TO SHRED! 100 PERCENT OF YOUR DONATION WILL GO TO THE HUMANE SOCIETIES. No binders or bulk commercial items will be accepted.

Please respond to this notice to keep it going or if you have any questions.

Perfect timing! We are moving with our two dogs to the villages March 20th and our paper shredder just broke. So we will bring our papers with us and come to the event.
Thanks for posting!

Just a reminder, that there will not be cats or dogs up for adoption at this event this year. Because Buffalo Ridge is an emergency hospital, the parking spaces have to be reserved for clients that may be in need of immediate care. This is a great event for the humane societies. Hope to at least match last year's record gift.

If you can't park there, where do you park?

It's very organized. You stop your car in front of the trucks. Volunteers will help unload your paper (or you can do it) and it gets dumped into a big bin which is hoisted up and into the big shredder. There will be two big trucks. There will be a number of parking spaces if you want to park to watch your paper being shredded. The sponsors are there until every piece of paper is shredded.

Thanks Nipper. That makes sense.

Thank you! It's all about the animals. The volunteers at the humane societies are selfless and work so hard to save and place homeless cats and dogs. Villagers are so compassionate when it comes to helping helpless animals. Last year we were able to donate $9,000 to Sumter and Leesburg Humane Societies. It is real challenge to match that amount again.

This is a perfect day to gather up all your old checks, old tax info, and other boxes of old papers taking up space in your garage and attic. Bring it all to Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital parking lot Saturday where two professional shredding trucks will be parked and will securely shred it all. There is no charge, but you will be asked for a donation that will go to the humane societies of Sumter County and Leesburg. Last year the sponsors collected $9000 to help homeless animals. Please help us match that goal.
