Barbershop singing?

Does anyone know anything about a barbershop chorus in TV. I was in an award winning one in the Chicago area and would love to get involved in one down here.

As you might imagine, yes, there is a chorus and it is big and multi-talented. They do several shows at the Savannah Center every year.

Here's a link to an older article in the Daily Sun. A friend of ours sings in the Alexandria Harmonizers (in DC area) and he told us their former director was now in TV.
