Does anyone know where to dispose of an old gas grill? Will the regular trash pickup take it?

In Sumter Cnty you can call a number on the website and make an appointment to have it picked up at the end of your driveway. I think this is it: tel:352-569-1975

I don't think they will take the tank. With that said, I'll bet a box of Girl Scout cookies if you set the grill out the night before, the pickers will get it. Put a "free" sign on it.

I agree about the tank. That can probably be returned at a Blue Rhino exchange Location.

Take the propane tank down to ace hardware. They will take it.Put grill out at end of driveway and people will be fighting to get it. The villages phone number to come and pick it up is 748-0109

Wonder why old grills are such a "hot" commodity?? Maybe people want them to get money for scrap metal. I have an old grill and will make the call. Thanks for the phone number!!
