View Full Version : Picture - June TOTV Luncheon

06-20-2008, 11:00 PM
It was a warm summer afternoon..yet, 18 TOTV'ers braved the heat to enjoy the monthly luncheon at Crispers. Well, actually, we only lasted outside for about 15 minutes then headed in to the A/C. We welcomed several luncheon first timers as well as many old friends.

Welcome to newcomers Pebbles and Dean; Nanci2539; and to visitor Niels who will be doing his first lifestyle preview visit next month.

Welcome back to Villages Kid, our soon-t0-be-retired hostess (retiring from her real job, not her hostess responsibilities), her beau Chuck, Redwitch, Dicky, Villages07, swrinfla, Eddie (EJP52 - super squirrel), Wiw1814, Beady, Taltarzac, JimT49, SamHass, Chelsea24, Beady, and RokinRonda.

A good time was had by all. Somehow, Chels won the door prize of a supersized green apple pool noodle, complete with diaper seat. No pictures were taken of her with her noodle.

That's all for this month... see ya'll on Friday July 18th!!!

Greetings from Canada. It is hard for me to imagine that you preferred to sit inside at Crispers rather than on the patio! I guess there is probably a difference of 20 degrees between TV and Ontario that would explain that.

Thanks V7, you are very kind to post the pictures. When I'm at Crispers, I hate having my picture taken. Strangely, when I'm not there, I enjoy the pictures very much! Good to see all my old friends again, especially the Glam 5. :clap2:

Oooooooooo Gracie...tall and blonde. I like that!!!!! If I was a foot taller and the same weight, I'd be thin!!!!!!!
I call most of the women by their real names when I see them..except for chels. Her name is chels. Her real name just does not match her like chels does. Actually, Red should be Red also. It suits her. Kinda sassy!
Beady is named for the beautiful beadwork she does. It is tiny and magnificent. Your eyes have to be great to do such fine work. I call her by her real, classic name. We all call Nancy Nancy. VK and Vo7 I call by real names. Rokinrhonda does rock and I call her Rhonda. WiWi I call by her screen name . It suits her..petit and cute.
You will all enjoy meeting these great ladies and nice men. Welcome Pebbles, Dean and Chuck.

Ronnie, you need to get your facts together before reporting. Chels lost ejp's noodle! And then there's the fact that after stroking the noodle and getting it wet, she had a very satisfying cigarette.

(Yes, admins, this will be cleaned up after the fun ends. I sincerely promise to tell the WHOLE story with the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. However, nothing stated so far is a lie.)

He gave Chels instructions on how to use it. He told her to get it wet. Ed said it would make things easier. It got wet. She stroked it dry and then had a very satisfying cigarrette. This is, by far, the most obscene luncheon we've had so far. I thought it would've been the April lunch, with Handie and 16 there... Buttttt, it turns out, my darling Eddie, is the devil of them all!

OK! While I've been busy working, Eddie's noodle has been being abused. So, let's set the record straight.

For the innocent onlookers and not this crazy bunch I call friends, Eddie's noodle is safe and sound with me. Yes, I have taken possession of Eddie's noodle. And yet, he is not noodleless! Hmmm a mystery indeed. ???

(TRUTH: Eddie, being the nice man that he is, picked up a noodle and chair for me for the pool. He told me to put it together in the water because it was easier. I was sipping on a soft drink and my hands were wet and as I was listening to him, I was drying my hands on the noodle! :o He then left and I did, indeed, have a cigarette. End of story!
The truth must be posted here out of respect for his darling wife and my wonderful husband whose noodle won my heart years ago! ;D)

So with all that said, Eddie, ewe, nut! Thank you and I'm sure we'll noodle around in the pool soon! chels said sheepishly. ;)

For all of you that don't live here, can you tell this is a rainy day in Florida? LOL

Disclaimer: Do not read if you want your imagination to keep running with EJP's wet noodle now owned by Chels.

Noodle facts: As Rhonda said, the "noodle" was purchased by EJP for Chels so she could make a chair for the pool. You use one of the noodles and a mesh "sling" (purchase both at Wal-Mart for under $10 together). The noodles come in large and small sizes. After some major by EJP's wife, she managed to get the two together to make a wonderful floating chair for the pools here. EJP used it at the pool, saw a gentleman wet the noodle and voila! one instant chair in minutes. So, the trick is to get the noodle wet -- makes the sling portion slide on quickly and easily.

So, we're sitting outside chatting and smoking. Chels goes into Crisper's and EJP follows. She gets change and pays EJP for the noodle and sling. EJP leaves and it gets rather raucus since we now down to all girls.

The noodle comments flew fast and furious. To top it off, Chels took a drink of soda. The glass was sweating and dripped on the noodle. Thus, we now had a wet noodle that Chels stroked to dry off. This occurred several times to more raucus comments. Of course, Chels then had to light a ciggie and the comments went from raucus to almost obscene.

See what happens when you THINK a get together is over and leave it to a few females with somewhat twisted minds? Course, we didn't think all the nasty thoughts y'all did and shame on all of you for thinking Chels would play with EJP's wet noodle right there at Crispers! ;)
