The following is a portion of an email received from Diane Ferguson, President of the RDOG 3 group:
Subject: Fwd: Meeting

"Just a friendly reminder about the month of March and our RDOG 3 meeting, which is Wednesday March 4th 7pm till 8:30pm at Eisenhower Rec Center. Our guest speakers will be the volunteers and Board of Poodle and Pooch Rescue and Heather Murley from the Learning Center in the Villages."

Dog owners and lovers are invited to come out and learn about our four-legged friends. Membership is $5.00 per year, payable at the door.

On a side note, If any attendees have extra dog bedding, old blankets or towels that you no longer need, please bring them to the meeting to donate as we have a need for them in our rescue of dogs at Poodle and Pooch Rescue Dogs for adoption from our Rescue in Orlando FL (http://www.pprfl.org). Also any leashes or harnesses you wish to donate can be dropped off that night as well.

Hi Jacquie. I have seen several crates for sale recently on TOTV. Matter of fact, there is a Medium one on the Classifieds now for $30.
Garage sales are also a great place to find one. Or you can simply go into the section titled "Items Wanted" and post a request there. I'm sure you'll find one in no time.

If you can make it to the RDOG3 meeting tomorrow evening, there are plenty of knowledgeable people willing to help you along with your poodle. Hope to see you there!

To all of you that came out to the RDOG3 meeting last night at Eisenhower, a sincere THANK YOU for all the towels, bedding, harnesses/leashes, and the travel crate. Additionally, the many generous donations will enable is to save many more dogs & pay for their vetting. We also met some new potential foster families, to help care for the dogs once they are ready to be adopted.

It was nice to get to meet one of most recent adopters, Trish, who adopted "Sassy" just two weeks earlier. We look forward to seeing you and her on March 14th at Woof Gang Bakery in Brownwood.

It was nice to hear Heather Murley's presentation on Accupuncture for dogs. Very interesting concept.

I have not seen any posts recently on meetings. We finally have settled since moving late March and I am ready to come to a meeting. Maybe I missed a post?

No RDOG3 meetings are held in May and June. They should resume July 1 at 7pm. Looking forward to seeing you then.
