Mom2five and Barefoot are getting together for a TOTV luncheon! Just wondering if there are any Canadians out there who would like to join us. Highway 404/401 area. Please post here or send a Private Message to either of us. Hope to see some fellow Canucks.

There must be others from the Toronto area. It would be so great to be in touch with others in our area.

Yes, Tal, North Toronto area in Ontario. If you're going to be travelling on vacation, please come and join us for lunch. Great fishing in Canada!

looks like there were 16 in your area .......however you two are the only ones who survived the winter.........the others all froze to death.......This is according to Jack Laulard of the RCMP's .... So while your having lunch and you look around and see several urns on the mantle , you might jot down the names...for totv membership...

The only way we survived was spending our winter in TV.

We are getting together July 9 at 2 PM for lunch.
Come on TOTV Canadians, I know you're out there!! (Unless, as Fumar speculates, you all froze to death this winter).
Come and have lunch with us. :welcome:

Bare, I just popped out to the cart to do a quick teleport up there. I thought we might just sit at the lake and chat a bit over an iced tea. For some reason, the cart won't teleport.
Darn cart. I'll have to have a service tech stop by to see what ails it. In the meantime, have an iced tea and know that I wish I could have joined you.

Barb..it's our fantasy carts from another thread. My fantasy cart has teleporting abilities. It works much like a magic carpet. It's a four seater so I can take friends along when I pop up to visit Bear.

You poor dear, Deb. You've been working much too hard in your garden in the hot sun. Fantasy carts? Hmmm When are your visiting hours at the home, dear?......b 040

Hi.
I was born and grew up on Prince Edward Island. Moved to NY state when I was 18 and got married a few years later. My husband is from the Albany, NY area. In 1995 we moved to the Milwaukee, WI area and in 2/08 moved to South Carolina and planned on building a house on our Lake property.. In March we visited friends in TV and guess what? August 4 we close on our new home in TV. We will be there next Tuesday 7/8 but we have appointments on 7/9 or we would gladly join you Canadians for lunch. Maybe we can met once we get settled.

Hi
Wish I was closer as I am in Ottawa so a bit to far to go to lunch. Enjoy. Cannot wait to go back to the Villages in the fall...

I know there must be a lot more Canadians out there living in the Toronto area. Perhaps they haven't been introduced to the pleasures of TOTV yet. I'll have to attend a Canadian Club meeting when I get back to the Reservation to talk up TOTV.

T & W - Sorry you can't join us for lunch, we'd love to meet you.
Redwitch, it sure would be nice to see a familiar face walk through the door.
CanadianChick, wish you were closer than Ottawa!
I've had several PMs from Canadians, but unfortunately no-one can make it to our luncheon!
Mom2five, thank heavens we found each other!!

Ah, a whole bunch of Maritimers. I was born in Nova Scotia and had a summer cottage in PEI for years (close to Victoria Harbour on the south side).
Look forward to meeting you when we're all in TV.

Mom2five met me this week for our first Canadian TOTV luncheon. 8)
It was wonderful to spend time with her and to share memories of The Villages.
We both love Canada and enjoy spending time here. But also we miss our houses in TV, the people, our golf carts, and everything about TV! It is such an unique place. We look forward to returning in the Fall! :clap2:
We're still looking for more Canadians to join our luncheons. Please PM us if you can.

It was just great to talk to someone who understands what TV means to me. People who have not visited really do not have any idea and I am sure they get sick of hearing about it from me. I am enjoying my summer but looking forward to seeing everyone again.
