There is an article today about what the Villages Public Library has to offer Villagers in The Villages Daily Sun http://www.thevillagesdailysun.com/articles/2008/06/23/villages/villages02.txt
When I was at Palm Harbor Library, the children's librarian there used an idea she borrowed from a New York City area library. This was the idea of people donating toys to the library, which would catalog the toys and then let borrowers take these toys out for so many days.
Maybe a good idea for someone here on TOTV to suggest as the Villages has so many visiting grandkids who probably do not have a ready supply of toys on hand even if grandparents often have quite deep pockets when it comes to their grandkids. :joke:
