i was visiting my mother this week and we went to urban flats the other day for lunch, we all had the flat breads, i had the vegtable one she had the ceaser salad one, it was great. I would recommend that you try. The service was great too. I would rate it a 10 plus.

The Black and Bleu is out of this world...very delicious...and I'm not a lover of bleu cheese.
I think Urban Flats is a little pricey but it's worth it when the food is good....and it is!

Because this young old lady couldn't drink it without a mixer......
Any suggestions?

yes, you are correct in my opinion....Urban Flats is "hip"..."smooth" and is the kind of restaurant we need here. Not more of the tired old chains, tired old franchese...same ole...same ole.....we need upscale cooland exciting stuff!! Great Food, Great Service!! New Idea's!!

When we were there for a month, Urban Flats was one of the places we liked. The menu is different and the food and service were good.
But the very best part was having a table on the porch. From there, I could observe the action at that outdoor bar.
One night it was the stuff of which that chapter in Leisureville could have been made. I think I saw Mr. Midnight there. And I also think I saw one of those bad girls from high school. I always wondered where they ended up.
And. . .
Oh yeah, uh, wait a minute. This is the restaurant forum, not the soap opera.
Uh. . .and the chocolate fondue was really good.

I like Urban Flats because there are a lot of lewd and licentious women there. It's much closer than Katie Belles. :hot: :yikes: :hot:

Boomer, I don't have to set foot in that wanton place to see what's going on in that sidewalk Sodom. I just go to the LSL Camera and pan to the left. Urban Flats comes in Bright (if you'll excuse the pun) and clear. If it's too late in the evening, you may have to use the special night scope. The color sucks then, but you can still see the hussies cavorting.
It's a terrible, terrible thing to witness, and I often ask why I must subject myself to this degradation. I guess someone must suffer.

Urban Flats is definitely one of our favorites. They had great salads too, and like others have commented, its great to sit out on the porch and watch the activity on the square.

I think the food is good, but the flatbreads at Crisper's are more to my liking. I absolutely think we should have more places open after 9pm. I think as the Boomers are slowly moving in that will change. I hope, I hope . . . :o

I love the flatbreads at Urban Flats and Crispers. And U.F. has a view of LSL. But I don't!! I can never get the webcam to show me LSL, it only displays Spanish Springs. Is it me or the webcam?

So far I have read here The following pluses for Urban Flats:
Good food: I agree
Good service: I agree
Good location: I agree
Good value: I agree
Open after 9:00: I am neutral. At my age, if I eat after 9:00 I can't go to bed until after 02:00!!.
BTW, I have one minus, noisy. But, it seems all the good eateries around here are noisy. The quiet ones have no one in them and that is not a good sign.

We need sound on the web cams so we can hear the music and dance the night away while we are away.

:agree: I really wish we could hear the music! And I'm not sure why the LSL webcam is out of service so much. It is so comforting to me to be able to see the town centers when I'm in Canada. I love the internet.

Urban Flats saved us! We didn't get to TV until after 9PM when we first visited in December, and we were starving! I had the crab cakes and we had the chocolate dipped fruit for dessert! YUM! We didn't really know what to expect Villages-wise, and we were completely amazed that there would be such a cool place with such great food -- and it was open late!

I can just imagine the battle:
User 1 - Pan left
User 2 - No, Pan right
User 3 - No, Zoom tight
The picture would be shaking like it was on Ecstasy :joke:

Urban Flats has my vote also. Really great, wholesome food. When I was there last, they gave me a little yellow card. When you've had 6 flats, you get one free. Nice

I’ll have to try Urban Flats next time I am in TV, especially if they are open after 9PM. My wife and I were looking for a good restaurant open after 9 when we were there a couple of weeks ago.

Urban Flats is one of our favorites too.
We like the Wednesday nite wine tasting. It's from 5 to 8 PM.
You get a paper bracelet as your pass for the buffet and wine tables.
All you care to eat and drink for $15 a person.
