Small dog says wave goodbye to the cattle ::)......... I was telling a E pal who with her husband runs a small ranch in Washington the sad saga of our buffalo and she replied that even the normally docile Angus will become threatening at calving time and one needs to use common sense around them at that time :joke: so enter the coyote lawyers and someone insisting their grand child can pet the new calf :o .......... and you can start waving goodbye to the cattle now :dontknow: ah, common sense ?? you mean a attractive menace ~ eh :edit:

Awww smalldog. I'm sure you're right, but I'm so sorry to hear that. I just don't understand some people that ruin things for everyone. Thanks for the heads up. :(

WELL I would become hostile too, if some strange species tried to put their appendages on my new baby and stick a carrot in it's face that heaven knows where it had been!

Buffalo are one thing, they are somewhat unique. But cattle? I can drive in a 10 mile radius around TV and spot 1000 cattle! There must be some reason why the developer has livestock on the campus. Tax reasons?

There a many other great uses for the land that the Morse's could think of so it must be a financial reason that the land is kept as open space.

I was told when we bought that there are tax breaks (for "farmers") for that portion of the land used as a farm. Now instead of buffalo, it's cattle. Same tax break, less interest in taking pictures with them.
