We are moving to TV from Ohio and would like to install our Martin bird house--if it would be allowed. I am wondering if anyone knows about restrictions on this type of thing. We presently have it installed on a pole which is about 15 feet high. Thoughts?

Not sure of the rules, however there is one at a house on Canal Street; unclear if this is Sable Chase Village or Virginia Trace Village. This one definitely has a pole about 15 ft high and I frequently notice birds inside and around the bird house. Go for it!

Run it by the architectural review board and if it is approved you can put it up.

I had no trouble getting a Bluebird house approved. I see a few Martin houses around.
No more Bluebird or Martin houses for me. My trees have grown up and out too much and both BB's and Martins like a little space.
