We have all been concerned with all of the burglaries that
have taken place in T.V.
I would love to be able to call a "Vendor" who could
come to my house to reinforce my front door and
sliding glass doors.
The Under Armor products look promising but
even having an incredibly handy Husband, I
would love it If there was a person who did this.
Ideas anyone?
(We have an alarm system but would still like to
reinforce our doors.)

It is easy to break in. Just break any window.

Not sure this is what you mean but I have had Rob install safeslider's on a few of my clients doors.

I would like to put something so the sliders can't be
popped out of the tracks.
Thanks so much for the info.

Someone posted a couple of weeks ago a DIY idea for making sliders safe. Do a search for "sliders."

As I said awhile ago, I just bought wood dowels from Home Depot. They are 4' in length and I believe, 3/8" diameter. I just put them on top of our lanai slider doors, between the frame and door. The dowels slide along with the door and does not impede the door operation at all. That way the space between the door and frame is blocked and the doors cannot be lifted up and out. Inexpensive, about 98 cents each, and simple to install!

Villagetinker here, the attachment did not attach, hopefully you will find it in previous stings where I posted the info, I think I also managed to get into the do it yourself section. Also, several readers have pointed out that you can install screw into the top frame, or place pieces of flat (like a yard stick or thicker) or dowels on top of the sliders.
I hope this helps.

If the burglar has gotten to your sliders he has already come through your lanai or porch door. Best to alarm those "first entry" areas with door/window sensors or motion dectors tied into an alarm system.Once that siren goes off the intruders will be on their way. I recently installed a SimpliSafe system ordered online and feel much safer than before. Alarm monotoring is only $14.99/mo.
