Could anyone recommend a company to check and adjust my garage door? It has been making a funny noise and either needs adjustment or ?? Thanks

Ro-moc has a $49.95 checkout, adjust and lubricate special for Villagers. (352) 748-4575
They run an ad in the Daily Sun.

About three years ago, my garage door started doing funny (not ha ha) things. Wouldn't go down all the way unless I gave it two or three tries. Wouldn't go up unless I gave it two or three tries. Did the Wd-40 and everything - no change. Turned out that one of the springs had busted in half. Took a techie.
So - if the WD-40 does not work - call someone.

The counter balance springs on garage doors have a life time of about 7 years (depending on usage). It's a good idea to not walk under a garage door when it is operating - people have been killed doing that when the springs breaks. Most garage doors have a warning sticker on them about proper maintenance.
