On February 11, 2015 the Amenity Authority Committee awarded the contract for the demolition and reconstruction of the new El Santiago Recreation Center. ^ The District has now acquired the necessary site permits and the contractor has submitted the construction documents for building permits. The demolition of the existing structure will take place on March 27, 2015. For the safety of both residents and workers, please refrain from entering the construction zone. The interior of the new recreation facility will be 7600 sq. ft., comparable to other Village Recreation Centers in the community.
