Every time I see the ad for DeLand Kia I cringe. Blaring music flashing lights an annoying avatar all "Gangnam Style" UGH Much worse than the merely annoying attorney ads.

Yes, I agree also, but the one with the people gagging over the coffee table is right up there also.

I really loathe the Flo ads for Progressive. The latest is the worst. No, you can't have sprinkles cause Progressive didn't have the lowest rate, ergo, you're not a winner. Yuck!
Haven't seen the folks gagging around the dinner table and I've pretty much learned to just ignore car dealership ads.

Why did you have to remind me about Flo?

I vote for the attorneys. Can't decide who is the worst. Is it the one who pushed the marajuana issue and said the old people who voted against it would be dead when it goes on the ballot again? It could be the one who is honored to help with slip and fall/car accident/motorcycle accident/etc. Since they take at least 40% before expenses, it's no wonder they can afford so much air time.

Gee. I like Flo and the push-its. The one I can't stand is the high-pitched, irritating voice of the woman who asks if you know how much you're paying for homeowner's insurance. Or the auto ad couple who are trying to keep the dog & towel from jumping/sliding off the hood of the car while pushing their cars.

There are 3 or 4 legal services ads I hate much more, although I give you the Kia add is annoying. The victims that "recovered" thousands of dollars after calling this attorney is American marketing at it's worse.

Better watch out or I might sue you for saying that. ::jester::

I hate any ad that yells at you. Why do they think yelling will make you a customer?

Yea, what's with having to have their mutts in the ad? I know they like their dog but putting it on a car doesn't do a thing for me. If I'm looking for a car I could car less about their dog..

We hate the Rob Lowe ads.. just cringe when they come on and hunt for the remote to MUTE

Gee. I love the Rob Lowe ads. My favorite is Painfully Awkward Rob Lowe, who stumbles over the word Cable and who "Can't go when there's people in the room!" It's a pretty good display of acting skill for Rob Lowe to be doing so many different people convincingly. They really get into the character of their particular Rob Lowe personna.

I liked the older direct tv commercials where a person's problems escalates. " Don't end up with a grandson with a dog collar" for example.

I personally believe that Rick represents all that is good about broadcast TV today. Just saying.

And yet... I have no clue about what kind of car they're selling or where they're selling them, because I'm too busy watching them trying to keep the dog from sliding off the car.

I just DVR everything that I might possibly want to watch, then choose something and zip through the ads. If I'm unfortunate enough to get stuck watching live TV, well, that's what the mute button is for.

I would be "HONORED" to represent you and put thousands of $$$ in my pocket.
I wouldn't trust these attorneys to feed my birds!

I can remember when the legal topic of advertising by attorneys was hotly debated by attorneys. Many were against attorneys advertising because they believed it would demean their profession. Folks will have to decide if it has but the majority of those advertising are either Law firms promoting product liability class action suits nationally or Law Firms advising that they can get you a larger settlement then an insurance company will offer you.
Obviously these type of attorney advertisers are a big turn off for me
As an article in the Daily sun pointed out today, madmen types seem to have lost their mojo for producing good advertising today with lackluster taglines, etc

I hate all the ED, Menopause, and bladder ads. Matter of fact, I hate all the drug ads. "Ask your doctor if xxx is right for you." If my doctor doesn't know what's right for me, then I need to find a new doctor pronto.
No wonder drug prices are so outrageous. They "claim" it's because of research costs. How in the world are millions of dollars spent in TV advertising contributing to "research"?

Here is, in my opinion, the worst commercial on television.
In Massachusetts there is a law firm that acts as a clearing house, directing inquiries to different franchised law offices around the country for a percentage of their profits. Back in 1998 or maybe early 1999 the video post-production company that I worked for put together a TV ad for this Massachusetts law firm dealing with the evils of Mesothelioma. "If you or a loved one were exposed to asbestos you may have mesothelioma and are entitled to millions of dollars in settlement money." We made dozens of different "versions" of the same ad to run in TV markets all around the country. The only difference was the "local" phone number that appeared on the screen in each community where the ads ran. Imagine my surprise when I discovered they are still running the same exact commercials on TV in Florida 16 or 17 years later!
"Hey big law firm. You make lots of money. This is 2015. Spend a few of your bucks and make a new commercial."

I use my dual tuners on Directv and haven't seen a commercial in 10 years except Super Bowl. Then again I probably watch too much TV in TV.
