We are finally making the move form VA to TV later this month. In VA we have Comcast adn I wanted ot simply terminate service in VA and transfer it TV or at least the"internet" portion to savemy eamil inforamtion and user name. WOW what a lesson I learned...this is not easy to do but can be done.
From what I understand you terminate your home service in VA and your user name is still active for about 2 maybe 3 weeks. During that short time you have to establish internet service in FLorida get a new user name and then use a function in Comcast called "easysave" (all one word) to download your email information to your new user account in florida. THEN you have to call Comcast Florida and have them ourge your old email user name to your new account and then you designate the purged name as your primary.

Has anyone gone through this ?? For what you pay you would think COMCAST would make this process more transparent!!

I had to go through that moving from Pa. It was a slight inconvenience but the other side of the coin is when you establish Comcast in The Villages all promotional savings apply. Call the TV Comcast people a couple of weeks in advance to set up a time to connect. I did that and they were there promptly to connect me.
