Has anybody used these folks to design and install enclosure for a lanai?
Good or bad experience both welcome.
Did you do glass or plexiglass or the polyfilm?
Single sliders?
Stackable sliders?
Other?

If not them who else does this type enclosing?

We had a very good experience. Coming up on a year now. No issues. Our sliders are glass and stackable. 10 possible openings provide many options.

We also had a very good experience with them, installing stackable glass sliders in our lanai. There were a couple of small leaks and they came right out to fix them. I recommend them.

Has anyone encountered problems with mold growth when heat and humidity build up inside the enclosure if you're away for the summer and can't open windows for air circulation?

We used custom windows and have been very happy with the lanai enclosure. We left last summer ( May to September) had no mold issue when. We returned.

Our lanai was done 2 years ago by Custom Windows. The company was a pleasure to work with, fast and efficient. We got glass with stackable doors. Wish we had done it sooner. Such a pleasure to sit out there when it's raining and we get a lot more use out of the lanai. We really liked that they measure, order doors (4-6wks) and don't remove your screen until the day they come with your order so you don't lose the use of your lanai in the meantime. The whole thing was done in less that 5 hours.

If it was done by Custom Window of Leesburg, why not give them a call.

Update.
Just had our lanai enclosed with slider glass doors by Custom Windows.
Four sets of four track slider and one two panel slider. Broze with bronze tint glass. Two day job.

Outstanding work crew headed by Jeff.
Endo f day one the worksite was clean as the start of the day.
I was away when they finished up on day 2. When I got back the place was spotless. No way it looked as if it was a construction site for two days.

Frank who did the original measuring came up with a unique way to separate the grill area with a double slider and a floor to ceiling picture window.

The workmanship is excellent.
The quality of the material (frames, sliding doors, threshholds etc is excellent.

Great family run business that has the customer as the king and center of attention.

If you are ever looking, be sure to have them in for a consult and quote.

We used Custom they are great. When we leave we leave the sliders open. With glass, there is only a couple degree diff.

I highly recommend Custom Windows and Doors in Leesburg. Their work is outstanding and they have great design ideas. It's probably a good idea to use glass rather than acrylics; I've heard there can be building code issues with plastic if you try to air condition the space in the future. Anyone else know about the new requirements?

We've used Custom Windows twice now in two of our homes and have recommended them to several friends and neighbors.
