Does anyone know if you can bring your computer (desk top) into best buy for repair even if you did not purchase it there? I have had a few repair men come in but no one has been able to fix it

Check with the 1-2 Village computer clubs, there are also several computer people that are on ToTV, as well as MMD that I have personally used.
By the way, what is the problem?

The problem is all of a sudden I can't get email addresses into a group and I need to get this done asap so am stressing over it. I never had this happen before on AOL?
Go to MMD on 441 just south of 466

Will I have to leave there for days or do they fix immediately?

If this is related to your other question about sending emails to a set group of recipients, here is a Youtube that explains it for Gmail.

Hope this helps.

You sure this is a computer issue? Sounds more like you need someone to walk you through on setting up groups. If nothing else works, create a new account in the same mail account (hulahips@gmail and hulahips2@gmail). Copy the mailbox contacts and then delete the addresses you don't want from the second account. Won't fix the initial problem, but is a work around so you can do what you need for now.

Sounds like a software problem and not a computer problem. If AOL it will also be dependent on the version you are using. I have found, in the past, that when AOL starts acting up it's easier to download the current version. I don't use aol often but every 6 months or so I check for new versions and download them and haven't had an aol issue in years. I assume you are working with the free service.

You can take it to any computer repair shop and they will help you right there. Bestbuy may not be able to do it the day of though. I would call ahead to them and see if they have the time to do it while you are there.
