Is there any source of information on the performance of The Village sales agents such as number of listings, sales closed, feedback from buyers or sellers?

I don't know about that but our sales agent, Tony Trussler, is one of the top performers and a wonderful guy to work with. They're naming one of the streets in the Village of Fruitland Park after him. He's hardworking and listens to what you want and gives you all your options. All do not do that.

A vote for Jim McLaughlin, our age, worked with us over a couple years, non pressure very KNOWLEDGEABLE. Since you are asking about a Villages sales agent I assume you are looking at new. The Developer changes the rules as the inventory increases/decreases and the sales agents have zero flexibility. We asked Jim for documentation as the process went along, warranty's, deed restrictions, tax and bond information, fees, electric KWH rates etc. and he always provided written documentation. Make sure you read, read, read, and ask questions of whomever you go with.

Jim McLaughlin is our choice too and helped us with two homes here and if we decide to move again, he and Patti will be called on again. He is an ethical, decent man and has nice GRAY HAIR.
I don't think that" they" encourage competition, just service.

Are you looking for specific recommendations or just wondering what information is available............in general???

If you are looking for a sales agent, just find one that you can relate to well and feel comfortable with.
They are many good ones. IMHO
The two suggestions already offered are good agents.

Our vote for JoAnn Ives; she was incredible helping us find our home. She is also having a street named after her.

I don't think the agents employer (The Villages) would publish that kind of statistical information. What you can get is anecdotal information from residents about individual agents like you are getting on this thread.

Tony Phillips is the best. He was very kind, patient and found us exactly what we were looking for.

Another vote for Tony Trussler. A very kind and patient man. He helped us while buying from Chicago, oftentimes showing us a house via FaceTime. It worked, here we are! We have bought and sold many houses in our life and there aren't many agents I would say I would use again but Tony Trussler is an agent I definitely would want to have on my team!

Having been in real estate for so many years, I am verrrrrrry picky when it comes to working with another agent.
Justin Wilson is absolutely tops in my book, and agents don't get into my book too often or too easily.
I recently attended a dinner at Katie Belle's, which Justin had for his previous customers, as a way to show his appreciation for their business.
There had to be at least 350 there.
THAT should tell you what kind of agent Justin is (besides what I said!).

Our sales agent, Tommy Incorvaia, is one of the very top performers and a terrific guy to work with -- smart. professional and caring -- very astute and on top of the pulse of things here. And guess what -- they're naming one of the streets in the Village of Fruitland Park after him.

Patricia Minnehan gets my vote. Very Professional, low pressure and she makes your Village real estate Experence a real pleasure.

Sat next to a Villages sales assistant one night at Cody's a couple of years ago. She was about to become a sales agent, don't remember her name, but she told us that every year after the season, the bottom third (performance-wise, measured by $ amount of properties sold/listed) are let go. I don't believe they allow any part-time sales associates as in other areas of the country.

I have been getting the type of information you have described and I was looking for something more.

I had a married couple show us around on our first visit. Our second visit we were assigned Pat White to whom in my view demonstrated much hustle. At the time the Developer was getting top dollar and telling you what you were going to get...take it or leave it (2006) I was so incensed over the Developer's attitude that I told Pat White exactly what location and what we wanted in a home and if she couldn't find it I was moving elsewhere. Much to my surprise, Pat called me 3 weeks later and here I am.
Pat is still selling and from what I gather selling well and my view she is a woman of integrity, honesty and good business sense.
