Does anyone else find these annoying, or is it just me?

Ditto here - I noticed the 'New Posts' function above many months ago, and use it to see the...new posts. Typically it works nicely, but lately esp this morning...2 pages of coupon alerts??? yes very annoying... Perhaps Admin can do something about that.

Just click on the coupon button and shut it off

I think the coupons are great. It does not cost anything to look

Wish they would not appear in "New Posts" but instead just have a button at top of someone wants to see them. They all appear on another coupon site....

It takes a second and I simply scroll down over them.

I like the idea of the coupons but it is annoying having to scroll through so many posts when I'm interested in the coupons. Maybe they could be done in such a way that they don't show up in the "New Posts" search.

When you click on 'New Posts' do you not see a menu button 'skip coupons' at the top of the messages listing? Try clicking on that! Should then be able to access coupons on that menu button. No?

OK, hope this helps.
If the coupons annoy you, simply hit the red button at the top of the page, and they will be turned off from the NEW Posts section. Then if you want to see the coupons, go to the HOME location, and around 12 items down you will see the Coupons section, with the word NEW to the left.
I think this solves are the concerns I have seen above.

But don't forget to WAIT 30 secs between clicks 😁....
Then it will work

A section for coupons for the few that like them would be appreciated.

It's there - under the page's banner = 'Free Coupons"

You are so right! I can't believe how annoying it is to have to put up with special, free features on this forum of which I have no personal interest. I only want to see what I want. I don't care about the coupon clippers.

Maybe we can get the owner of the forum to stop giving it away free. Maybe we could start paying a monthly fee of maybe $10, so we could pick and choose our features instead of having to share.

THANKS for the tip of the selection to turn off Coupons (and/or Classifieds).

Just what the Dr ordered! And, now, one less "annoyance" in our life here at TV... ahhhh. Life = Good.

Coupon aficionados should be able to click on a category specifically for coupons. I don't think they should appear with the general threads.

Thanks - had never noticed the red opt out button
