How many streets away from the train would you need to be before the noise wouldn't be so great?

One long chip and one (sometimes three) short putt(s).

:dontknow:
I'd say a decent drive, a good fairway shot and a seven iron.

We live in the western part of TV (south of 466 and the new Walmart store). We can hear the train in the distance, but it doesn't bother us at all. We like it; and most people on our street in TV say that they also like it.
Now that I'm in exile in Canada for six month, I long for the sound of a train. :'(
I think there is only one part of TV, north/west corner, where the tracks run very close to the houses. Many comments on previous threads have been written, including a video posted by Talk Host who lives in that area. If you back on the tracks in that area, it might be a problem.

Homes/villas are still for sale in Hadley, by 466A and southeast area of TV. No train noise here that we are aware of at this time.

We stayed a month in Arlington villas behind the high school. Train whistle woke me every day at 4:30 A.M. I wouldn't have minded if they waited until 6:30! ;)

We are west of Churchill Downs in Village of Belvedere with only one street behind us before the end of TV. We hear the trains in the distance and not only is it no issue but it actually has a bit of a charm that, like barefoot, we miss at our home up north, where instead our former rural road has become more a fly-through highway....

I am on vacation and miss the sound of the outward bound
