The Kite Runner Based on the book it is a great story and gives us some sense of what life was like in Afghanistan before the Russians invaded and later on, when the Taliban took over. Great story and even with extensive subtitles still was easy to understand. Once story shifts to America, there is more English language spoken. Give this movie 4 :bigthumbsup:

I finally got around to watching The Kite Runner which is a very good movie. Will have to check out Hancle704's other recommendation too sometime of Bernard and Doris.

I picked up The Kite Runner at the Lady Lake Public Library through the Lake County Library system.
