Where is a quick and easy place to get a watch battery for a Seiko?

My husband Had his watch battery replaced at a jewelry store in Brownwood. It immediately steamed up. The gentleman said whoever replaced the battery didn't get the seal placed correctly. He was the one that did it the day before. The watch continued to steam up after he "fixed" it. Fortunately it was a $40 watch some walked away.

Radio Shack in wildwood has batteries, as well as some of the local drug stores and the area Walmarts. If you can change yourself this is how I would go. If you want someone to change the battery, you may need to find a jeweler as most stores will not do this.
Hope this helps.

I've many times used the Jewelry store located in Southern Trace shopping center. Somewhere around $10.00

Perhaps call and make sure they have batteries for Seiko?

The name of the store is Gold In Art Jewelers [see post ^] often construed as 'golden'! :) We don't want Sandtrap328 to go spinning his wheels for that battery! And I agree - they are wonderful people!

I'm sure they have the battery you need. Recently replaced my Toyota key batteries.
They won't take money for the battery, but I always leave something in their charity box (and no, they don't hint at doing it).
