Thanx Gracie. Looking at your post, I wasn't sure who you were talkin' about. Re the 1000, I really hadn't noticed. Kinda like I don't listen to what I say, I guess I don't read what I write. Saves embarrassment. But with Rhonda, Johnny, Russ and some others around, I can't get away with nuthin'.

Maybe I need to get a life and spend less time on the computer.

So battin' a thousand, huh.

You know I come here often. And when I show up, I always look around for you.

Wait! Wait, Munc! Wait!

Do not be afraid.

I am not stalking you.

I just like to read your stuff. I think you're funny and I think you're smart. Although when I look at the political stuff you write, I do find that I am not completely clear on just where you stand.

And there are those times when you are really helpful to other Villagers. And you give them information. And you know stuff.

And I get a real kick out of how sometimes you're a bit of a grizzly bear, but basically a teddy bear. Keeping us guessing, huh, Munc.

But my favorite time is when you come out to play.

You know that I can't get out of here without telling a little story. And like all my little stories, this one is the absolute truth.

This is a story about when Boomer met Muncle.

I think it was last fall when I arrived here. And your writing got my immediate attention. And you said something somewhere about being retired from a government job.

Well, for some reason, that I cannot explain, I got it into my head that you were FBI? NSA? CIA? Munc, honest, I thought you were a retired spook. I cannot begin to explain why I thought that. It was just a vibe, Munc. Just a vibe.

So anyway, that was my first impression of you. And then I noticed that you were talking sometime or another about having been a paper-pushing bureaucrat or something like that. A desk job in DC or wherever. Uh huh.

But you know what? That's what they all say, Munc. That's what they all say.

So anyway, Munc. Don't worry about the numbers. Just keep writing for us. And maybe someday, you will decide to tell us. Which one, Munc? FBI? NSA? CIA?
