Last week when I was looking at homes for sale in TV, I found one site that gave the dates and $$ of homes. I could see what the home had sold for each time it sold. Does anyone have any idea where that site is?
We just spent two days at TV, and looked at two homes. Both nice, but neither exactly "the one", but worth remembering. Had a very nice salesperson from TV sales, Steve Lineberger. Showed me one property I suggested and one he suggested. Took the trolley tour a second time, and just drove around trying to get an idea of what is where.
TV is, as you all know so well, a beautiful place!

This is a link to the sumter county appraiser's office - you can search by street address, name, or other variables to see what has sold, and the price, etc...I don't know if this is what you were thinking of. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the link! I searched and could not find the address, so it may not be in Sumter County.

go to top of totv page and clik links and then on goverment and then on county appraiser. it take about two weeks for info to be posted on county records or maybe longer. you can search by name only

Thanks, drd,
That is what I was looking for, though not the same site as the other day. However, I can now find almost everything I want to know from the county appraiser site.

I think it takes longer than two weeks, I've been watching for our house and it hasn't been listed yet. We closed May 5. We used that page a lot while shopping for a home, especially looking at preowned, you could tell exactly what the home was purchased for.

DRD's post above doesn't give a link, and I don't know how, BUT, DRD says to go to top of this page, click on Links, then government, then on the county appraiser's office of the county in which you are looking.
Lil Dancers post does give a link for Sumter County.
As dgammon6 said, it is nice to know the previous sales history, and nice to have a place to find it.
Isn't this fun? But, oh so time consuming.

Here you go

Select the county and you can search all homes in Florida by County. Gives complete sale information; sq footage; and links to property tax info
Good luck
