He is soooo cool looking Chels. I love the spot on his nose too. He almost looks like a Van Gogh painting.

I loved all your pictures! Beautiful animals. I think people who rescue dogs and cats are absolute angels.
Now I'm madly trying to find and post pictures of Brutus, Biggins and Snert. :dontknow:
Villagers, meet the late Moose.
He was an 18-pound guy who loved to walk in the woods with me, and led me out of them once when I forgot where I was. I called my wife on the radio and had her call the cat. He took off for her voice, which I could not hear, and I was out of the woods.
We had 44 acres to roam together, until a neighbor poisoned him. He died in his favorite spot, the shade of a pine thicket from where he could watch us on the deck. It was his deck really that he let us use from time to time. Most often when I was reading a book on the deck he came over to ball up on the book figuring that is what I needed. It was.
He helped my wife plant in he flower garden to the point we had to lock him in the garage until she was done because he wondered under her nose as she put in each plant.
He is missed.

Tony, loved the picture of Moose. There is so much intelligence in those eyes. To think that he was poisoned is difficult to comprehend. They live on in our hearts.

Aw Tony, what a touching post. Moose obviously was very loved and had a wonderful life. He'll be waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Tony -
What a precious baby - and I love the name. What sweet memories you to have to keep.
Loss is so difficult, but poisoning a pet is beyond comprehension.. Your neighbor must have been some kind of a nut.
I'll probably be the first one banned for this but, I love animals and especially pets , and I hope there is a special place in Hell for those who abuse or wantonly kill them. Benj

Benj :agree:
In my opinion, you deserve an award :#1: for caring about animals. Thanks for your post.

My avatar shows pictures of my two boys, Brutus and Biggins.
Biggins (the small black dog) is pack leader and Brutus follows him everywhere. Unfortunately my Himalyan princess cat (Snert) didn't make it into the picture.
Benj, I couldn't agree with you more!!! And I would also like to see much harsher punishment for these people (I use the word loosely).
