home watch and lawn maintenance

I have to leave for a few months and need a reputable home watch company that others have had good luck with. I also need someone who is reliable to cut and trim my lawn. I have not had any luck with lawn service companies. Help! I have a small courtyard villa with a small front and back yard.

Please recommend service companies y!ou have had good luck with.

Lighthouse Home Watch has done a wonderful job for us the past year. They have now added lawn service that you can have mowing, hand weeding, or both. We found them on this forum as an advertiser. The main contact is Jamie and his number is 352-445-3250.

We had a lawn service that said they were mowing and weeding. Living in PA we paid monthly and had to trust it was getting done. It was not. We don't have to micro manage Jamie and know what we pay for is getting done to our satisfaction.

I use The Village Sitter (Charlene Manieri) 267-481-0588 and cannot say enough good about her. She sends me pictures of the thermostat and pictures of anything she has concerns about. She recommends people to take care of issues that arise and I feel she's always looking out for my best interests.

we have a lady that has been watching our house since December, she is excellent, walks around the yard and makes sure our lawn service is doing what there suppose to be doing, noticed a puddle of water in back yard and she took a picture of it and sent it to us, the sprinkler head was broke, called the irrigation company and they came and fixed it. Anything she notices she lets us know, she cleans homes in the villages. She is a very clean person and very honest. I would not hesitate to call her, her name is JOANN and her number is 314-856-2411
