Hello All My Helpful Forum Friends!!

We are here in THE VILLAGES right now looking at courtyard villas. Would someone quickly as possible give us an idea of how much it costs montly to live in one such villa? Such as: amenities, CCDs, water, trash, utilities, maintenance, etc.

We're trying to figure out what we can afford. HELP!

Thanks in advance, dear TOTVs.

:welcome:

We have a two b/room Courtyard Villa and this is approx. what we pay each month.

Water/sewer/garbage combined- about $80 p/mo
Electric ~ $40~$60 p/mo
Amenity fee ~ $135 p/mo

Telephone depending on what you have. Our is with Embarq and we pay about $100 a month and that includes unlimited long distance and DSL

Cable/Comcast is about $100 p/mo and that is including HBO but not Showtime.

Lawn mowing front and back ~ $35 a month

Then there are trail fees if you choose to golf and use your cart. I can't remember what that is. Not sure what that is but it is fairly cheap and I know someone else on here knows it.

Hope this helps..

Z:

read your list and in # 38 you might want to add yearly termite spraying. I pay approx. $250/yr.
