I contracted with Kyle Stead to put down mulch around my home. Per our agreement, he was paid 50% up front to purchase the product, and would be paid the remainder when the work was done.
This was in late November, and by mid December it still was not done. I contacted him and was told that his truck had broken down and due to the holidays he was having a hard time getting parts. So I contacted him again after Christmas, and was told he would have to refund my money because he wasn't going to be able to do the work. I'm now beginning legal proceedings because he is ignoring my calls and texts.
I wanted to let people know because I know he has done lawns for other people in the Villages, and I don't want to see anyone get taken advantage of.
