Hi

We have Aetna for dental insurance through the FEDVIP plan. I need 3 crowns and my own dentist wants $1200 per crown. Ouch. There are several doctors in the area who take this insurance which info I got from the Aetna website. I just don't know where to start. I don't want to just roll the dice. Do you all think $1200 is high for a porcelain crown? These will be going over implants that I am currently having put in. Do you have a good dentist that is more reasonable and who takes the Aetna plan? I know it is a shot in the dark but I thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My plan just changed to Aetna. Dr Lesh in Southern Trace plaza takes Aetna. I like him and his staff. Don't know the cost of crowns.

Dr. Heydari at Aesthetic Dental takes Aetna. Just had a crown done by him. Good job. Cost me $160.00 out of pocket with my plan. His office is on 466A across from Colony Plaza. His # is (352) 633-2467.
Good luck!!!!
