Let a smile be your umbrella
Go walking with your favorite fella
and don't complain
we need the rain! (We do?)
Today it's America's soggiest hometown
for which we wear a water-proof crown.
For those who have saved for a rainy day
now go buy stuff for Christmas lay-away.
Lay-a-way, lay-a-way, lay-a-way, okay?
Get your stuff laid-away in the lay-a-way department.
Get laid straight away.
Don't delay.
For those of you with a dog in need
to expel something after a feed
take it for a walk in the wet-green grass
and wait for a prize to come out of its..........

A bather whose clothing was strewed
by winds that left her quite nude
saw a man come along
and unless I am wrong
you expected this line to be lewd
Author...not me.

There once was a monk from Siberia
Whose morals were rather inferior
He did to a nun what he oughtn't have done
And now ???????????????

A bather whose clothing was strewed
by winds that left her quite nude
saw a man come along
he gave her a thong
So she married the dude.

There was a young lady of *****
who smiled as she rode on a tiger;
They returned from the ride
with the lady inside,
and the smile on the face of the tiger.
—attributed to Edward Lear and William Cosmo Monkhouse
This is kind of funny but not for the young lady.
The country of ***** is blocked out.
