Yes, the earth revolves around the Sun but how many people know what the Sun revolves around?
What does the Sun revolve around and how many years does it take to complete one orbit?
Okay, start you search engines, there's a prize waiting for you. :eclipsee_gold_cup:

The sun revolves around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. (That partial answer was without a search engine...I have no idea how long it takes to complete its "galactic year". Heheh.)

Okay! You win a trophy! :eclipsee_gold_cup:
There's still one more prize waiting for the person who can tell me the number of years it takes to complete one orbit.

One cosmic year
Darn, you are correct! I just did a search that said 225-250 million years but it's sometimes called a cosmic year.
I'll have to award two second place prizes.
Second place prize is a great vintage wine. :wine: Enjoy!

Quite amazing. Imagine going that fast and we are never in the same place twice. We go along with the sun as it orbits our galaxy. Sounds dangerous to me. How do we not bump into something along the way?
