I know this has been discussed before but has anyone used or using a digital antenna for tv in the Virginia Trace area. Thanks. Cable is getting to expensive for what you get.

I've installed over 100 antennas in The Villages with very good success. There are other options as well. Call me if you'd like to discuss cutting the cord...

Tom installed an antenna in our attic. Works great. He is highly recommended.

Tivo has a DVR that works with over the air (OTA) digital antennas. It goes for $50 but has a monthly tv guide type of subscription..or for a single payment of $300 you get the DVR with a lifetime subscription
Just read some of the comments associated with the article....not sure if the offer is still available

Don't get too excited, the difference between 20, 30 and 50 channels is how many more Spanish religious stations you need. That and other foreign language programming. Basically you can expect the Orlando feeds major networks in high definition (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS) and maybe another 3 or 4 channels of useful programming.
But there is another way without the expense of an antenna. Call me for details....

It looks like the offer has disappeared. It did look very attractive. Channel Master also has a OTA DVR offering with no monthly fee. I only know about it from internet reviews.

If you need a good internet connection, Tom will solve your basic TV problems too. An attic antenna will work, and Tom will install them, but there is one other option that makes more sense. Give him a call to find out.
It works for us!

I am sorry to say that I have already forgotten who put our antenna up outside but it was the man from Marion market. We get about 65 channels, but many of them are duplicates, like the ABC channel from Orlando, from Gainesville and Daytona all showing identical screens. And there are about 10 Spanish channels, I think. But if you missed any episodes of Gilligan's Island or M.A.S.H. There are a couple of channels that still show them and Howdy Doody!

try scanning your cable inside your house if you have a newer TV with a digital tuner they are all there :)
It is not stealing the channels are free from the broadcasters and the cable company can't charge for them, but when you buy your other packages they are there for the customer, very rarely do they disconnect them and if you have internet from cable provider then you have them there. they do not put filters on the cables to eliminate them if you don't get TV service
