seems it is tough to find any coverage of the policeman shot in the head in NYC and is fighting for his life.

NYPD cop critically injured after being shot in the head | New York Post (http://nypost.com/2015/05/02/nypd-cop-shot-in-the-head-in-queens/)

Hard to find coverage of this event and I assume it will be simply an interuption in the news cycle and MIGHT end up on the scroll across the bottom.

Happened today at 6 PM....anyone see a report.

BREAKING NEWS is in Baltimore according to CNN as of a minute ago and the anger about the curfew

AGAIN, sorry for the interruption.

CNN would only cover if it were a cop shooting a black person. Try fox news. They cover All news

As the OP, allow me to clarify.

When I typed that, I was upset. MSNBC was showing their prison shows, FOX was talking about the policeman who was shot, and CNN had never left Baltimore, nor to my knowledge even mentioned the shooting. I checked to insure what I thought.

Nice that my post gave smiles to some. Now you can return

FOX is a gossip show, and has no more to do with news than MSNBC.

Dear Guest: Dana Perino of Fox News was on the Larry Wilmore show along with two other guests both of whom are very liberal. The story line was the coming together of two rival gangs in Baltimore the Crips and the Bloods and how they had taken control of the situation and looters. So both liberals waxed and waned about how these rival gangs get along but congress cannot because of Republicans.

When it came to Dana Perino's turn she exclaimed that the rest of that story as outlined in the New York Times that the Crips/Bloods told the looters to stop looting blacks and redireted them to loot asian/muslim businesses which they did and which account for the larger % of business destroyed by black looters in Baltimore.

Guess what when the show aired on TV Dana's Perino's segment was well cut and probably lying on the floor somewhere.

It would you behoove you personally and intellecutally to relieve yourself of so many of your biases and beginning looking objectively rather than emotionally at current events. There is room on either side for criticism but do it objectively If you can't I would suggest you get your news from The View because it will fit very nicely into your world reality view.

And finally if your just trolling please get more creative.

Personal Best Regards:

Dana Perino also had NPR cut many nice things about Bush that she shared..they apologized......CNN gal made a remark about veterans coming back home and being over agressive police...she apologized. CBS booby trapped a conservative guest on his beliefs on family. They admitted it was a trap and apologized.. ALL the apologies were of the Twitter type, so that reduces who sees them.

No doubt that Fox is biased....but gotta tell you, the others are all losing viewers in droves, so who knows

I wouldn't believe anything in the New York Times. What did the Washington Times report?

NYT report, a single gang member made a claim to the media. No confirmation from any other source. I am sure members of the crips are generally considered good reliable sources but perhaps the journalistic integrity of the Comedy Central team felt at least a single confirmation of the claim was required before broadcasting. But Ms Perino's journalistic ethics did not as it perhaps fit her agenda? This moment should be remembered as the only time in the history of Fox that a claim made by a black inner city gang member identified only by a first name was accepted as gospel by the news department at Fox, and by a person who was the White House Press Secretary and spokesman for G W Bush.

USAToday reports that the person shot was plain clothes and in an unmarked police car. Not to excuse any shooting, all are deplorable. But this may not be an example of a person intending to shoot an officer as the shooter may well not have identified his victim as one.

Of course that excuses it. What a bad thread. Much better when a convicted felon flat out refuses to comply with a lawful order and ends up dead.

I, nor does anyone excuse the deaths at the hands of police...Never, but the utter, "oh well" on the death of police, and ignoring who is dying and what they were doing at the time is just startling. All are different, I realize, and obviously, we have no empathy for police.

Never was for any conspiracy crap, but this stinks...I am really believing we are at war NOW. Not future class war, but present.

There does always seem to be a "oh yeah, but..." to a shooting of a cop, but never a recognition of what is happening on our streets by those who spit on law. New heroes....crypts and bloods....all is now forgiven and they just became stronger

Yes, when the police become the "bad guys" and the gang members and looters the "good guys" ... you know it can't end well. Welcome to the 21st century liberal progressive paradise ... secular only of course.

Most (all) news departments have a hard news side and an opinion side. Fox has the best hard news side as they are unbiased. Fox's opinion side leans right but not as much as MSNBC leans left. CNN leans left. Network news, both hard and opinion, lean left. If you don't like opinion shows, don't watch. If you want hard news, watch Fox because they are better than anyone else. When it comes to cable (Fox, MSNBC, and CNN), Fox dominates the rating by a huge margin.

Fox has a huge advantage as it is not limited to the daily allowed talking points.

Wrong color of the LEO to get national coverage. If he had been one of them and was shot by a white LEO, they would be raging more so now.
