When I closed on my home in TV in March I prepaid my April amenity bill but have not received a bill yet for my May bill or water. Who do I contact to see if the bill was mailed or do they normally bill in advance or after the fact? Thank you all for your asssitance.

My bill says call 352-750-000 for VCDD Customer Service.

Check your HUD statement. Is it possible they took out for April and you really pre-paid May?

Down here in Sumter Cty, they bill after the fact. I would call and make sure they have your Ohio address. They kept sending bills to us here when we were actually in MI. We learned to make sure to do a change of address on the back of the bill before heading back north or returning south.

We have all our mail forwarded at the post office (because we're seasonal residents). It works like a charm.

That didn't work for us. By the time the mail got forwarded, there was dang little time to get the payment in. I think we're in a different county from you? Or else your PO in Canada does a better job of handling the forwards than ours in MI did.

I had a similar experience after I closed on a house in July. You will need to call VCDD 352-750-0000 (as Champion6 suggested) and provide them with your mailing address (I assume you are not in the TV house).
I have my houses on "bank draft" and it does not matter if I am in TV or not, the bill is paid on time.
The billing cycle on my last bills show: The service period is from the 10th of March to the 9th of April, the billing date is the 15th of April.

Whoops, I guess I forgot to say that we pay all our Villages bills by automatic bank deductions. Easy Peasy.
The statement we receive is just for our own knowledge of the details.
